Meadow Park School is a pupil referral unit situated in the borough of Knowsley on Merseyside. We provide a quality educational experience for children who have or are experiencing difficulties in a mainstream setting due to medical, social, emotional or behavioural needs.
We support young people to develop alternative strategies to improve their resilience and confidence through a personalised curriculum, delivered by dedicated, experienced and qualified staff.
The Headteacher and Governing Body are seeking to appoint a self-motivated and enthusiastic Administrator who demonstrates excellent communication and organisational skills, has a positive ethos and is committed to improving the learning outcomes for all our pupils.
If successful you will support effective whole-school operations, providing a dedicated support service to all staff. The successful candidate will support with hospitality and visitor management, attendance, school lunches, SEND administration, reprographics, parental engagement amongst other general office duties.
The successful candidate will:
- Provide general administrative support to ensure the school delivers effective and efficient services
- Act as front of house welcoming visitors and communicating with pupils, staff and parents
- Maintain the school’s management information systems
- Manage school lunches using the ParentPay system
- Co-ordinate the school’s social media accounts and communication tools under the direction of senior staff
- Support with the collation of SEND information and maintain SEND registers
- Collate registers and monitor attendance
- Assist in the completion of local authority and DfE returns
