Temporary until 31 August 2025

 MPR1-MPR6 / £30,000 - £41,333 per annum

UPR 1-3 / £43,266 - £46,525 per annum 

To commence September 2024

 

The Governors of Park Brow Primary School are seeking to appoint a conscientious and hardworking individual to provide an ambitious curriculum within the EYFS.  The successful applicant will effectively plan and deliver lessons before undertaking assessment, enabling access to learning for all pupils and support in classroom management and behaviour techniques.

The successful applicant will:

 

  • Have experience of working with pupils within the EYFS
  • Be proficient in planning and delivering lessons.
  • Is enthusiastic, highly organised, motivated, energetic and creative
  • Be a team player who is also able to work independently.
  • Be responsible and accountable for all aspects of the progress, attainment, care, guidance and support of identified groups of students and the quality of learning and teaching in the classroom.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Teaching

  • Plan and teach well-structured lessons reception children, following the school’s plans, curriculum and schemes of work
  • Assess, monitor, record and report on the learning needs, progress and achievements of assigned pupils, making accurate and productive use of assessment
  • Use student progress and attainment data available to monitor and evaluate the progress and attainment of all student groups e.g. students in receipt of disadvantaged funds; ethnic minorities; SEND; girls; boys; high attainers
  • Set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge pupils
  • Promote good progress and outcomes by pupils
  • Demonstrate good subject and curriculum knowledge
