Actual Salary: £18,767 - £19,081 per annum
Actual SEN: £1,162 per annum
32.5 hours per week, 46 weeks per year - subject to enhanced provision funding and needs of child remaining unchanged.
Current role will start at 8:30 and finish at 3:30
The Governors of wish to appoint an EYS Teaching Assistant who is suitably qualified and experienced to support the learning of a child with complex and significant special educational needs in Reception.
Do you:
- Have experience of working with children with SEND needs?
- Have recent training and experience using Makaton and symbolic communication programmes?
- Possess the ability to be flexible and adapt activities?
- Have experience and a willingness to support the child with her personal care and hygiene?
- Have experience of delivering bespoke speech and language programmes (with support from the Knowsley SALT team) to support and develop the child’s social communication?
- Have recent experience of supporting a child with sensory activities and experience of delivering sensory circuits?
- Have experience of sensory and explorative play?
- Have recent experience in working in EYS or pre-school settings?
- Currently possess a First Aid qualifications?
- Possess a warm and welcoming personality?
- Have high level interpersonal, organisational and presentation skills?
- Have the willingness to support the continued development of this happy and successful school?
- Have a cheerful and friendly disposition?
