The successful candidate will work closely with senior leaders to embed inclusive practises, promote high expectations, and implement the graduated approach to SEND provision, in line with statutory guidance and the SEND Code of Practice.
The Role
We are looking for a passionate, experienced, and strategically focused SENDCO to join our Senior Leadership Team. The class-based role will involve teaching two days per week within a Phase 3 class (Years 4, 5, or 6), alongside dedicated SENDCo release time of three days per week.
The non-class-based role will involve three days per week dedicated to SENDCo role. This may at times, include teaching within classes throughout the school to model and support children and staff.
As SENDCO, you will have a vital leadership role in driving SEND provision across the school. You will collaborate closely with the Headteacher, Deputy Headteacher, staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure outstanding outcomes for our pupils with SEND.
