The Governors are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified Level 2 KS1 Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting young learners in their early educational journey.

 

The successful candidate will:

  • Collaborate effectively as part of a dedicated and highly motivated team.
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Key Stage 1 (KS1) curriculum frameworks
  • Have experience in supporting pupils to manage their emotions and develop resilience
  • Lead and deliver a range of targeted interventions designed to enhance pupil progress, including literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional development.
  • Promote best practice with professionalism and positivity, serving as a role model within the team.
  • Possess excellent literacy and numeracy skills to effectively support pupils in achieving their full potential.
  • Show strong organisational skills, managing resources and time efficiently to support both classroom activities and intervention sessions.

 

The successful candidate must be highly committed, flexible, enthusiastic, patient and show great initiative. In addition, be willing and able to make a caring and positive contribution to the class and school. They will be joining a friendly and highly committed team within a happy and successful school.
