The Governors of St Aidan’s Catholic Primary School wish to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Teaching Assistant Level 3 to work within the Nursery class of our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring and motivated Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will work under the direction of the class teacher to support teaching and learning, including targeted support for pupils with Special Educational Needs, enabling all children to achieve their full potential within a caring, inclusive and faith-centred environment.

The successful candidate will:
- Hold a relevant Level 3 Certificate/Diploma in Early Years Education (or equivalent)
- Support the Catholic ethos and values of St Aidan’s Catholic Primary School
- Have experience working within EYFS
- Work collaboratively and positively with all the staff within the ethos, vision and values of the school
- Have experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs
- Be able to support learning through planned and play-based activities

- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Work to high standards, both when working with colleagues and when working unsupervised
- Excellent attendance record
- Excellent communication skills with a flexible, proactive approach
